Radio One Chicago

As a guest DJ, we curated an all-local playlist for the show.

looking glass projects was

more focused on booking Chicago bands and venues. Most shows were hosted at Abbey Pub’s Green Room, but we also hosted at the Burlington, the Whistler, Emporium and the Abbey Pub.

some bands we've worked with

the looking glass team

looking glass had the honor of working with some pretty cool folk, including Ahmad Asani, Alex Dziura & Melissa Halliwell.

looking glass projects will be

opening a new local-focused music venue in the city. We'll provide a welcome atmosphere, open energy, honest ethics, good people, local music, and low covers. Bands will get treated well, everyone will have fun, & we'll all do it again tomorrow.

about me

looking glass was created by myself, Tracy Kreuser, with the goal of helping the Chicago music scene grow and unite. I'm really looking forward to phase3...

I grew up a band geek (clarinet), always listening to music, and think it's just the best. I believe success is when everyone wins, and it's my goal to continuously + exponentially leverage my years of corporate experience + ability to make shit happen + passion for music to help fuel the healthy growth of Chicago's music scene.

Within Chicago, I've booked and promoted shows at venues including Double Door, Subterranean, Beat Kitchen, Abbey Pub, the Whistler, the Burlington, Emporium, Viaduct Theatre, Ace Bar and Cubby Bear. I have also booked and promoted events in Austin, New York, Bloomington, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Nashville, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Cleveland, Royal Oak, Decatur, Iowa City, Champaign and Milwaukee. These shows have been previewed, reviewed, and featured in publications like RedEye, Innerview, Consequence of Sound, Windy City Rock, Chicago’s AV Club, ZapTown Magazine, Motor City Blog, Baby Stew, Fearless Radio, The Deli Chicago, ReverbNation, and XRT Radio. My events have previously been sponsored by Reckless Records, The Pleasure Chest, Bleeding Heart Bakery, Delilah’s, Nick’s Beer Garden, Threadless, Mana Food Bar, Comedy Sportz and Piece.
